My name is Rachelle Stock, L.Ac. (licensed Acupuncturist).  I have my Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from the Asian Institute of Medical Studies in Tucson, AZ and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ.  These degrees, in addition to my practice in these fields, have provided me with the knowledge, experience and compassion in helping you reach your health goals. 

 

How I got interested in Chinese Medicine:

Upon graduating with my bachelor’s in psychology I started working in the case management area of behavioral health care.  While Western medicine is striving to reach the needs of the mentally ill, I noticed there was something missing.  I thought about continuing my education to help people reach their goals through something more alternative.  At this time I was involved with Tai Chi then started to receive acupuncture.  I was inspired by how it was helping me change my health.  My stress and anxiety over work had dramatically decreased and I learned how make small changes to optimize my own wellness.  I decided that I wanted to help and inspire others with this subtle, yet strong and effective medicine.  It allows people to become empowered to take charge of their own health…this is how we all can achieve health and wellness!  The amazing part about Chinese Medicine is how it incorporates the whole person (body, mind and spirit), and allows for individuality in treatment. 

 

I am dedicated to your journey to health which is why I stay connected with the field of Chinese Medicine by continuing my education as in compliance with the NCCAOM and the State of Arizona.  I also have completed and become certified with the Clean Needle Technique to ensure safety for my clients. 

 

Interests and Hobbies:

After spending time in both Scottsdale and Tucson throughout the years I have been able to take advantage of the amazing outdoors.  My favorite ways of circulating my Qi include biking, rollerblading, and yoga.  I also love spending time with my wonderful boyfriend, family and friends!
